This Time of Year

Who could say, "no" to this delicate offer? Following the frolic comes the delectable fruit. Such is life.

Fix It to Death

Painting a door. An interior door. Painting an interior door so it will look smooth. A daunting task if you're using any form of roller. Made additionally difficult if you've not researched the project and gathered the right equipment. Bad things happen.

Take your time. Don't fix it to death.

Covering All The Bases

Driving down the road, we encounter this lunch wagon. Although the food offered seems to be nothing out of the ordinary, a careful reading provides a big hint as to the location in Texas.

Notice the "Three Food Groups." Barbecue, Mexican and Cajun. In this part of Texas, a heavenly culinary confluence occurs. Southeast Texas.

Bone appetite, bubba.

Trying Out Blogsy

Interesting but somewhat disappointing.

Rather inelegant insofar that you must swipe and change between a coder side and a format side to put together a blog entry. I don't understand the need for this "feature" in a proletariat blogging app. If the format side is wysiwyg, why force the writer to switch sides? Just make it optional.

Another instance where it is better to research.

My Girl

It is so wonderful to mini-vacation with my girl.

We make a reservation at a multiple-star hotel. Shop until we drop. Eat at a multi-star restaurant. It is so pleasurable to be with her. Simple equation

Southeast Fence Project

Removed single gate. The new cedar pickets at the right provide an indication of its former position. My original mistake was to place a gate at a corner and hang it to swing from the corner. Never enough strength to adequately hold the gate in alignment.

Dual 40 inch gates. Outward swing. Other exterior touches but, they'll be pictured in subsequent posts.

Required five days to complete. Takes time to accomplish such tasks. Ann is happy.
